Our embedded reporter tells us the Fitmen “Won by loads (150+)” against the Moles on Sunday. Impressive knocks from Umberto 99 (run out trying to get one more off last ball of 40th over), Butch (50), Si (40-odd) & Horatio (36no). The wickets were shared out.
Monday’s match at Herefordians ( Monday 29th August: 14.00 Start) will be where the tour trophy is won or lost...........
Spectators should set out early to take account of the massive local interest in the game which may cause severe delays around the Herefordians Stadium.

The finely tuned athletes will be available for interviews and photographs as they play the prestigious Hereford Leisure Centre Municipal in the Annual (and inaugural) Golf Tournament on the morning of Monday 29th August. Pre tournament favourites Jonny H Snr and Strickers (pictured below preparing for ice bath treatment in their luxury spa room) are likely to be challenged by Barnie who reckons he’s quite good.................(picture to follow when we work out how to display it without causing offence).
